Angelina Jolie’s Unbroken Gets First Trailer Starring Skins’ Jack O’Connell
The powerful story of the World War II hero has been retold by Jolie...
Angelina Jolie’s second directorial effort Unbroken has unveiled its first trailer.
The film stars Skins bad boy Jack O’Connell, and chronicles the life of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner who was taken prisoner during World War II.
His plane crashed in the ocean, and when he reached land he was taken into a Japanese prisoner-of-war camp until the war ended in 1945.
The trailer comes just a week after the death of Zamperini at 97, who Angelina had grown close to during the development of the film, and said “It was a privilege to have him in our lives."
Domhall Gleeseon, Garett Hedlund and Jai Courtney also star.
Unbroken will be released December 26.
