Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have confirmed that they are engaged. The A-listers have long insisted that they wouldn't marry until gay marriage was legalised in the US but have decided to tie the knot for the sake of their children.
The news comes after Angelina was snapped wearing an impressive rock on her ring finger in LA three days ago.
Brad's spokeswoman confirmed yesterday: "It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy."
Hollywood's golden couple have been together since 2005 and have six children together.
Speculation as to whether a wedding was on the cards began recently when Brad told the Hollywood Reporter: "It seems to mean more and more to our kids.
"We made this declaration some time ago that we weren't going to do it until everyone can. But I don't think we'll be able to hold out."
Now Brangelina are finally set to walk down the aisle.
According to The Sun, Robert Procop, the jewellery maker tasked with creating the perfect sparkler, revealed that the Moneyball actor was involved in the process.
He said: "The full creative journey - from conception to completion - took a year. He waited until the perfect moment to unveil this special jewel to Angelina."
No news yet on a date for the wedding.
