Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have finally shared details of their wedding last month.

The actress stuns in her custom wedding dress on the cover of People magazine this month, as we're given the first look into the couple's nuptials.

She graces the cover of the mag's September issue - along with an adorable photo of the newlyweds and their children - which features exclusive photos and details of their intimate ceremony.

The actress shows off her custom Atelier Versace gown in the magazine, which designer Luigi Massi incorporated dozens of her children's drawings into.

"Luigi is like family to me and I couldn't imagine anyone else making this dress," she told the magazine.

"He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together."

According to the magazine, Maddox, 13; Pax, 10; and Knox, six all wore matching suits, whilst the girls - Zahara, nine; Shiloh, eight; and Vivienne, six - all chose their own dresses for the big day.

[related]The children were also each given a role in the wedding - taking their mother down the aisle, carrying the rings and even baking the cake.

The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony of 20 guests on the 23 August at their estate, Château Miraval, in the French village of Correns.

"It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter," the newlyweds explained.

"It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family.
