As the song soared up the download charts Ant tweeted: "This is getting ridiculous now!

"What a show last night. Loved it. Aching all over mind!"

And Dec added: "Had the weirdest dream. Dreamt me and Ant did #LetsGetReadyToRhumble live on telly... oh, hang on... that actually happened didn't it?"

Meanwhile, the ever-popular presenters have also revealed that they have got their sights on even-bigger success - and are hatching a plan to crack the US.

The Sunday People claims that the Geordie duo want to take Saturday Night Takeaway across the pond, where they think it will be a success.

Ant said: "We want to take Takeaway to the States as we think it's a great show. We think it would be brilliant for the American audience.

"It could be great. It's the right time to give it a crack. USA Takeaway should work so it's something we think would be really good to do and make happen."

While they've never had a No 1 single, Ant & Dec have been so successful at the National Television Awards that there has been talk of banning them.
