Antonio Banderas and Gwyneth Paltrow To Co-Star In New Picasso Bio-Pic?
The actors are reported to be cast in a film about the world-famous artist...
Antonio Banderas is reported to have been chosen to play the role of Pablo Picasso in an upcoming biopic of the artist.
Fox News Latino reports that the Zorro star has been cast in the film, directed by Carlos Saura.
Banderas also told the network that Gwyneth Paltrow is in talks to play artist Dora Maar in the film - Picasso's muse.
The Spanish star revealed that this isn't the first time he's been considered for the role either.
"I turned down the chance at one point of playing Mr. Pablo, but the time has come in my life where I understand him better, and I am nearly at the age he was when those events happened, in 1937, when he was 55 or 56, and I'm getting close", the actor explained.
The film will reportedly be titled 33 Dias and is said to follow the story behind Picasso's 1937 painting, 'Guernica'.
