Michael Bublé Brought The Banter To London's Roundhouse For The Apple Music Festival
"Britney wouldn't have to pick up her own s**t."
Canadian crooner Michael Bublé was on top form as he took to the stage at the infamous London venue for his first live performance in nine months.
Despite having undergone surgery on his vocal chords in June, Michael was in high spirits as he joked about having to pick up his own coat after dramatically throwing it to the floor as he made his entrance.
"No one's gonna pick this s**t up, huh?" he quipped, adding: "Britney wouldn't have to pick up her own s**t. You think Elton would have to pick up his own coat?"
The 41-year-old singer then got down to business with stunning renditions of his tracks ‘Nobody But Me’ and ‘To Love Somebody’ before treating soul fans to a cover of Billy Paul’s ‘Me and Mrs. Jones’.
Not content with entertaining with his music alone, Bublé continued to crack jokes with the crowd.
After admitting he was nervous about how well received his voice would be following his operation, he confessed: “I thought it was going pretty well and then I heard bottles clinking and I thought, ‘Oh I get it, they’re s**t-faced’.”
Bublé - who we're pleased to report is dreamy AF in person - then brought his set to an end with ‘Cry Me A River’ and ‘God Only Knows’.
