Apple's iPhone 6 'To Come In Different Colours'

Analyst suggests next-gen smartphone will have multiple colour options...

The next generationApple iPhone could be available in a variety of colours, it has been reported.
Until now the computer giant has pursued a minimalist approach in the design of its hugely successful smartphone, which has only been available in black or white.
But industry analyst Brian White from Topeka Capital has told Business Insider that he expects big changes with the company's next model.
He said: "The Company has never offered multiple screen sizes for a single model. We believe this is about to change with the next iPhone offering different screen sizes that we believe will allow Apple to better bifurcate the market and expand its reach.
"This eventually opens up the possibility for a lower-priced iPhone (i.e., iPhone mini) with a smaller screen size that could allow Apple to further penetrate markets such as China and open up opportunities in India."
Apple already offers other products, such as the iPod, in a variety of colours.
The company is also reported, by The Next Web, to be testing the iPhone 6 already - having [uuid=abb19575-d9d4-4729-8098-a6a39f02f166]launched the iPhone 5 last year[/uuid].
Usage logs on certain apps have apparently included the signifier "iPhone6,1" - which reflects the designations given to test models of the iPhone 5 when it was in development.
