Product Review: The New iPod Range

Apple prove once again that great things come in small packages...

It’s a staggering 11 years since the original iPod was released and changed the portable music market forever, and now Apple has refreshed and relaunched the range for 2012 - with impressive results.
The iPod ‘family’ - consisting of the Touch, Nano and Shuffle - have all received an overhaul with the Touch leading the way. At 6.1 millimetres thick, it’s noticeably thinner - and lighter - than its predecessors.
It can shoot full panoramic photos, has full Facebook integration, iMessage, Passbook, and has all the app capabilities of the iPhone so you can catch up on all the latest entertainment news via the MTV News App!
Whether you’re watching the latest Nicki Minaj video or catching up on episodes of Geordie Shore, the new retina display and accompanying ‘re-imagined’ earpods will mean the booty and bad language will be clearer than ever.
If you’d rather work out than rock out then forget the dodgy connection on the treadmill system at the gym and check out the new Nano. With a handy new multi-touch screen and Nike+ as standard, you’ll be looking like Daniel Craig or Jessica Ennis in no time.
Last but not least is the Shuffle. Like the Niall Horan of the iPod band – it’s the smallest, the simplest, but is many people’s favourite.
