Arctic Monkeys Debut New Songs
Sheffield hits New Zealand as the four-some play tracks theyre recording for their third album
Arctic Monkeys played their first gig in a year in New Zealand yesterday- debuting new songs.
The band played four new tracks- Dangerous Animals, Go Kart, Pretty Visitors and Crying Lightning at the show in Wellington.
Its the first chance fans have had to hear material the Arctics are working on for their third album.
They've been recording new music with Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme in Australia- before playing festival shows later this month.
Reports say the groups sound is heavier than ever on the new songs.
Go Kart meanwhile apparently details Alex Turners love for his Mini car which he has named Floyd!
At the New Zealand gig the Sheffield boys played classics including I Bet You Look Good, Dancing Shoes, Brianstorm and When The Sun Goes Down.
