Texas singer and birthday girl Sharleen Spiteri asked the singer for an autograph at her party only to be met with a blank stare, according to a newspaper.

He didnt have a clue who she was, even though it was her 40th Birthday that they were supposed to be celebrating.

Eventually Alex reluctantly signed the autograph for her.

But he was kicking himself later when his friends told him who she was!
