EXCLUSIVE: Arctics Reveal New Tune

And the Sheffield lads have recorded an exclusive concert for MTV...

Arctics drummer Matt Helders has revealed to MTV News that the band's next single after 'Brianstorm' looks likely to be 'Fluorescent Adolescent'.

He said, "Its not set in stone but the second single will be Fluorescent Adolescent' - (a) summer smash! Fluorescent Adolescent' is probably the one which will get girls on their boyfriends' shoulders singing the chorus, Id like to think."

Although it's not "set in stone", lead singer Alex Turner told us they'll begin filming the promo next week, with the same director who worked his magic on the 'Scummy Man' video.

On the subject of music videos, the band told us they were chuffed with the results of the clip for 'Brianstorm' - which features a group of girl dancers throwing shapes you normally only see in dance or R&B promos - especially as they were lent a 'Spice-y' helping .

Alex said, "All the R&B videos are always more exciting to watch than any of the bands' videos. They have them big LED things and stuff like that. We got chatting about having dancers and stuff and it was like, 'Why not?'

"Then Mel Bs sister turns up with some of her mates " thats not an assumption, thats actually the truth - they were some of the dancers."

Who'd have thought it?

MTV spoke to the Monkeys during the filming of MTV Live with Arctic Monkeys in Barcelona. The exclusive performance and interview will be shown on MTV UK, April 20, 8pm.
