Just two weeks after we crowned Ariana Grande the future Queen Of Christmas, the stats have arrived to prove so.

Spotify have revealed the most-streamed Christmas songs around the world as the festive season nears its peak and Miss Grande's original is in the Top 5.

That's right, 'Santa Tell Me' is officially a winter staple as it joins classics by Mariah Carey and Wham!as the fifth (!) most-streamed Christmas track globally.

As one of the most streamed artists in the world this should come as no surprise but it's insanely difficult for new Christmas originals to compete with the nostalgic classics that are firmly ingrained in our heads.

'Santa Tell Me' was originally released in 2014 and has returned to the UK Singles Chart this year to a higher position than ever, reaching a new peak of Number 29 this week.

Clearly it isn't just the UK that's ultra-festive this year as everyone around the world has clearly fallen in love with Ariana's song all over again.

Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' is the most-streamed Christmas song in the world (duh!) while Wham!'s 'Last Christmas' comes in at Number 2.

Justin Bieber's forever-adorable 'Mistletoe' is also dominating Spotify this winter as it is the fourth most-streamed festive track.

While the leading two will never get old, we are happy to welcome this generation's King and Queen of Christmas to the pack!
