Ariana Grande Is Reportedly Reuniting *NSYNC For Her Coachella Performance
OMG. STOP. EVERYTHING.
Ariana Grande is headlining Coachella on Sunday night (tomorrow!) for the first of two performances at the two-weekend festival and things are starting to heat up.
In addition to the rumours about surprise performances with long-time collaborator Pharrell and K-Pop queens BLACKPINK, new reports are stating that the pop superstar is going to reunite iconic pop legends *NSYNC during her set.
The suggestion that Ariana Grande would gather up five grown men to reunite their '90s boy band for her headline show at the world's biggest festival in 2019 may seem utterly bananas to some - understandable - but it's not the wildest thing we've heard of.
Ariana developed a professional relationship with the band fairly recently, when she sampled their track 'It Makes Me Ill' (a deep cut!) on her latest single 'break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored'.
More recently (as in this week), the singer posted two videos on Instagram about the band that made Justin Timberlake famous.
One - captioned "the best medicine" - shows Ari dancing to their song 'Tearin' Up My Heart' and the other shows baby Ari caught on camera and singing along to the sounds of JT during a filmed *NSYNC concert back in the day.
She's certainly made it clear that this is a long-running love affair and has very likely been dropping hints about the major surprise she was planning to pull off that has now been leaked.
Will they join her to perform 'break up'? Will it be a mash-up of 'break up' and 'It Makes Me Ill'? Will they perform a medley will she watches? Will she join in?
The options are endless, however we reckon she might actually become one of the five members of the band because - wait for it - Justin Timberlake will reportedly not be involved, for reasons unsaid.
Okay, Ari - it's your time to shine! You've been waiting your whole life to join the band, now you're the frontwoman. Break a leg, sis!
