Ariana Grande Just Proved Her Harry Potter Knowledge In A Tweet To J.K. Rowling

We always knew that Ariana Grande had some kind of magical blood in her, but her latest Tweet to J.K. Rowling has gone and proved that she's a) a member of the wizarding world and b) the literal golden child of Ravenclaw house.

The singer has always been pretty vocal about the fact that she's a Harry Potter enthusiast (let's all take to a moment to remember the time she commisioned a custom-made jacket dedicated to Dumbledore) and is now showing off her A+ spellwork. 

It all started when J.K. Rowling took to social-media with an image of a particularly gruesome spider. "I am a strong, independent woman. Also, thanks very much to my husband for dealing with this so I could go through the door it was blocking," she wrote.

The hairy beast - vaguely comparable to Aragog - had been trapped under a glass, but Ari decided to slide into her @ replies with a spell used in The Chamber Of Secrets to ward off spiders. Niche, but excellent work Ari. "Arania exumai ✨" she wrote.

Arianators will know that this isn't the first time the singer has exposed her Potterhead status. The 24-year-old has Tweeted about the series twenty-four times over the years (yes, we literally counted) and is a proud member of Slytherin house on Pottermore.
