Ariana Grande Scores First No. 1 Album & Drake Breaks Records With 'One Dance'

"YOU MAKE ME FEEL LIKE A DANGEROUS WOMAN!"

YAAS QUEEN! Ariana Grande has scored her first No. 1 album with 'Dangerous Woman', and as the saying goes, it was third time lucky!

This record is Ariana’s third studio album and features collaborations with the likes of Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Macy Gray. It was a close race however, with 'Dangerous Woman' only beating Drake’s 'Views' by 600 copies.

Speaking of Drake, he’s busy chilling at the top of the Official Singles Chart with epic summer hit ‘One Dance’. Oh and he’s also at No. 2 in the album chart. Casually dominating the UK charts there eh Drizzy?

Elsewhere in the Official Album Chart we have Richard Ashcroft at No. 3 with his fifth studio album 'These People', Beyoncé’s 'Lemonade' is slaying at No. 4 and rounding off the Top 5 is Bob Dylan’s new record, 'Fallen Angels'.

Over in the Official Singles Chart we know that Drake is at No. 1, BUT he’s actually secured the longest run in the top spot for almost nine years!

The Canadian rapper has tallied up 92,500 combined chart sales with this track to score an impressive seventh consecutive week at the top. ’One Dance’ claims the longest stretch at No. 1 since Leona Lewis’s ‘Bleeding Love’ back in 2007.

Elsewhere in the singles chart we have Justin Timberlake’s ‘Happy’-esque comeback single ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’, while Calvin Harris and Rihanna’s ‘This Is What You Came For’ is in at No. 3.

Meanwhile, Sia’s ‘Cheap Thrills’ is still going strong at No. 4 with Galantis’ ‘No Money’ rising one place to break into the Top 5.
