Ariana Grande Responds To The Death Of Ex-Boyfriend Mac Miller

The late rapper has been described as a "bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans."

Ariana Grande has posted a black-and-white image of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller after his tragic death at the age of 26.

The singer had initially turned off the comments on her Instagram account after news first broke of his alleged overdose. Since then, she has returned to the platform to mourn the loss of the person she once described as “her favourite person on the planet.”

As fans will know, the couple had broken up earlier this year, with Ariana previously tweeting that she wished the best for him going forwards: "I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety and prayed for his balance for years."

Trolls have since been pinning the blame on the 25-year-old, who faced similar harassment earlier this year when he was charged with a DUI. At the time, she said: “Of course I didn’t share how hard or scary it was while it was happening, but it was.

“I will continue to pray from the bottom of my heart that he figures it all out and that any woman in this position does as well.”

Mac’s family confirmed his death in a recent statement, writing: “Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26.

"He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. Thank you for your prayers. Please respect our privacy. There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time."

We’re thinking of Mac’s loved ones at this tragic time.
