Ariana Grande Says She “Always Knew” She’d Marry Pete Davidson

The ‘Sweetener’ singer knew it all along...

Ariana Grande and fiancé Pete Davidson are the cutest couple ever, right?

When they’re not busy buying bean bags for their new $16 million New York City apartment, she’s writing songs dedicated to him or just generally being super adorable on Instagram.

Their whirlwind romance has made headlines around the world but Ariana has admitted that she knew she’d end up marrying the Saturday Night Live star.

"I left [SNL] and I jokingly said to my manager, ‘I’m marrying him, like, 100 percent. I’m literally marrying him’," she told Jimmy Fallon in a new interview.

"We weren’t even friends,” she reveals, speaking about their past relationship before it became romantic. “I didn’t even see him at the after-party."

Well, we don’t think that after-party had much of an impact on things, considering they’re so in love.

The pop superstar included an interlude titled ‘Pete Davidson’ on her new album Sweetener, which dropped yesterday, and it didn’t take very long to write at all, as she wrote it just one week after they officially started dating earlier this year.

Revealing she wrote it “like a week after we started hanging out,” she told Fallon, “I just made it and sent it to him. I didn’t know what to call it, so I called it ‘Pete.’"

If you haven’t already heard, the unbelievably cute track goes a little something like “Universe must have my back/ Fell from the sky into my lap/ And I know you know that you're my soulmate and all that.”

Ariana Grande calling you her soulmate after one week? We can only imagine being so blessed.
