Ariana Grande’s New Song ‘Thank U, Next’ Inspires Iconic Meme

"One taught me love, one taught me patience, one taught me pain"

Ariana Grande dropped the break-up anthem of all break-up anthems on Saturday and we’ve spent the last few days wondering if we’ll ever reach that stage of love, forgiveness, and acceptance when it comes to moving on from our own exes.

While the message of the song is obviously pretty powerful, the people of the internet have already turned the whole thing into a series of memes; with the latest potentially being the best thing that has ever happened online.

Inspired by the verse "One taught me love/One taught me patience/One taught me pain" - referring to her exes Big Sean, Mac Miller, Ricky Alvarez, and Pete Davidson – fans have shared images of famous trios who have made them feel the same emotions.

The meme also covers off a series of movies, including Mamma Mia!, Shrek, and the High School Musical trilogy.

Infact, Ariana even RT’d one of the tweets centred around the characters in Netflix’s The Haunting Of Hill House.

This comes less than 24 hours after fans turned the pronunciation of “But this one gon' last / 'Cause her name is Ari” into its own meme, with people speculating that the 24-year-old has a secret twin called Aubrey locked in her basement.

Either way, there’s a good chance #ThankUNext will inspire another meme by tomorrow morning and we’ll be sure to let you know when that happens.
