Did Ariana Grande Just Slam Pete Davidson For Publicly Joking About Their Split?
It's all kicking off
The drama went down when the comedian turned to guest singer Maggie Rogers and said: "Hey Maggie, I’m Pete. You wanna get married?” only to reply “0-3” when she quickly turned him down.
Fans soon realised that he was making reference to his previous relationships with Ariana, Larry David's daughter Cazzie David, and Carly Aquilino, with the former taking to social-media to reveal her true feelings about his jokes.
“For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh,” she responded in a now-deleted tweet.
The situation escalated when she quote tweeted a fan who urged her followers to stop bringing up her past: "Idk [why y'all feel the need to dig up her old tweets about him like. They were in love at some point but s--- happened," the fan wrote. "Life will go on."
In the final slice of proof that these comments were all directed at Pete, a quick perusal of her Twitter likes shows a clip of the SNL video alongside the comment: “SNL is about to milk their breakup just like they did with the engagement.”
This comes as both Pete an Ari have covered up the tattoos they once had in honour of each other after he joked: “I'm f---ing zero for two in the tattoo [department]. Yeah, I'm afraid to get my mom tattooed on me, that's how bad it is."
