Pete Davidson Speaks Out About Ariana Grande Split For The First Time
Pete Davidson has broken his silence on his split from Ariana Grande after the pair called time on their engagement last week.
The comedian co-hosted the Judd & Pete for America show on Saturday night where E! News report the 24-year-old cracked a few jokes about his well-publicised break-up from the singer.
“Well, as you could tell, I don't want to be here. There's a lot going on,” he’s said to have told the crowd. “Does anybody have any open rooms? Looking for a roommate?”
Pete and Ariana had been living together in a $16 million New York City apartment, had adopted a pet pig called Piggy Smallz, and had even undergone a bunch of matching tattoos together.
Making reference to the inkings during the set, Pete joked: “I’ve been covering a bunch of tattoos, that’s fun. I’m fucking 0-for-2 in the tattoo department. Yeah, I’m afraid to get my mom tattooed on me because she’d leave.”
The couple might have left the entire world shook when they announced that their five month romance was over, but an insider recently told People that nobody in their inner circle would be too surprised if they did eventually reunite.
“They’re very unpredictable,” the source acknowledged. "It’s over for now but in a few days it wouldn’t be shocking to see them all over each other again.”
Entertainment Tonight have previously claimed that she was the one to end the engagement, saying that the death of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller came out of the blue and prompted her to reassess what she really wants from life.
