Pharrell Williams Is Working on the New Ariana Grande Album

No. We're not making this up. Our dreams have come true. Pharrell Williams is involved in the new Ariana Grande album!

The 'Happy' hitmaker confirmed the news on the TODAY show and we couldn't be more excited.

Pharrell brought up the information, after being asked whether or not he'd be returning as a mentor on the US edition of The Voice. While he said that he would not be returning to the singing competition, he gave us plenty more to look forward to.

"Honestly I have to work," he said. "I have music to make and so many records – Ariana Grande's album is amazing. The Justin Timberlake album is amazing. There's another album that I can't talk about but my fans know about it."

AN ARIANA ALBUM? A JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE ALBUM? A SECRET ALBUM?!

The Neptunes producer is working all over the shop. Pharrell previously worked with Justin on his hit singles 'Señorita', 'Rock Your Body' and 'Like I Love You' so we have no doubt that he will be cooking up something amazing with Justin now.

As for Ariana, Pharrell worked with the 'One Last Time' singer on Calvin Harris' hit single 'Heatstroke'. However, the two are yet to relase any solo material together so Pharrell's work on Ariana's upcoming album marks an exciting first in their careers.

And, judging by social media, it looks as though this new music could be out fairly soon.

It's important to remember Pharrell has fine form with creating new sounds with female popstars.

From Britney Spears to Gwen Stefani - he has helped mould and lead the sound of pop.

Imagine if he and Ariana have made their own 'I'm A Slave 4 U'?!

Imagine if he and Ariana have made their own 'Hollaback Girl'?!

Chances are that they will have created something completely new and amazing.

Whatever it is though, we will be waiting with bated breath until it drops.
