Ariana Grande Sent ‘Thank U, Next’ To Her Ex Boyfriends Before Its Release

They listened to the track before it dropped online

It’s been revealed that two of Ariana Grande’s ex-boyfriends heard ‘Thank U, Next’ before the rest of the world did.

While Pete Davidson has publicly spoken up about their break-up during a segment on Saturday Night Live, it was actually Big Sean and Ricky Alvarez who were sent the track for clearance before it dropped online.

When a fan joked about their reactions to the song, Ari responded by saying that both her ex-boyfriends listened to it before anyone else did, but failed to comment about whether Pete was offered the same courtesy.

For his part, the 24-year-old left the jokes behind when he addressed their split in a recent monologue: “The last thing I will say is I know some of you are curious about the break-up.

"The truth is it’s nobody’s business, and sometimes things just don’t work out. And that’s okay." He added: “She’s a wonderful, strong person, and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world.”

For anyone who’d like a bit more infoabout Ariana’s love life, she dated rapper Big Sean for eight months before the pair called it quits in April 2015. At the time, their reps insisted that the duo still “deeply cared” for each other and would “remain good friends.”

Her relationship with back-up dancer Big Sean began in Summer 2015 and lasted for roughly a year before she began dating the late Mac Miller years after their collaboration on track ‘The Way.’
