Forget frothy princess dresses or slinky bodycon, because the Modern Family star is taking her style notes from the one and only Beyoncé and turned up for her birthday party working a couture leotard.

The look itself is more fun than most parties we've been to,including ones where cheese and pineapple on a stick were on offer,and involved an intricately bedazzled bodysuit covered in a pattern of teeny tiny crystals.

Going for a palette of golds and burnt oranges, it's a super sultry look that Ariel matched to her long beachy waves, fierce heels and super vampy eye makeup.

Basically it's mega-gorge and shows that Ariel is becoming just as much of a fashion icon as we've all been hoping.
