In the race to combat global climate change, MTV and Element have launched five inspiring short films making The Element Climate Change Series.
MTV and Element scoured the globe from Rio to Tehran to find five young people who are reacting in very different ways " through their own design brilliance, entrepreneurial nous and web suaveness " to the challenges of global warming.
Produced with the support of Internews, this series will showcase the global concerns of climate change to over half a billion people.
The stories follow the stories of five young individuals who have taken global warming head on:
Harsha, an Australian who won the Australian Young Designer of the Year award for an almost fossil fuel free, bio-plastic moulded car called The Globetrotter
Bremley, who is fighting deforestation and desertification in his native Northeast India
Courtney, an American living in Oxford, UK who manages carbon offsetting projects around the world
Igor, a Brazilian whose urban food gardens are slowly spreading across Rio de Janeiro
Sepehr, named Irans Best Environmental Blogger.
You can follow the stories of these five young people as all their videos are available to watch on MTV Switch right now.
