Bashy, Akala and Killa Kela have joined other UK urban acts for the Knice anti-knife crime campaign. The stars have recorded a track and video for short promo spots to be played on TV and online.

The Knice artists are all about encouraging deeper understanding of the issues surrounding knife crime. Bashy says "Im from the same place as young people involved in that kind of activity so can relate and be a voice for them."
2008 has been full of horror stories about knife crime, most revolving around young people. The track aims to expose the negative image of young people hyped by the media and instead promote positivity. Their slogan is 'Make a KNICE life - not a knife life'.
