Accused of lip-syncing at the last months BET Awards in LA, 50 Cent came to London needing to prove himselfand made sure that no one left the Hammersmith Apollo last night (July 2) in any doubt.
The New York rapper was about nine songs in when his hype man fluffed his lines. Fiddy stopped the music, took the guys mic and ordered his embarrassed comrade off the stage.
So for the next forty minutes and 15 tracks the muscle-bound star, a mic in each hand, hyped for himself!
As expected, the show was a hit with his legion of die hard UK fans, but in revisiting classics such as Wanksta and In Da Club you have to wonder if he can recreate that hunger on his new album Curtis " if we ever get to hear it.
Other highlights included an energetic medley of songs from the G-Unit family, and the fur-coated Timbaland briefly swaggering onto stage.
