Adele has reportedly been offered a cameo role in US comedy Ugly Betty in a bid to ‘revamp’ the show.

The Chasing Pavements star will make a guest appearance as herself for an episode due to be aired in the US in May.

According to a press release from Tv station ABC, the songstress will perform one of her hits at a photo shoot that: “culminates into a surprise wedding."

Adele has become a British success story in the States after winning two Grammy’s at the prestigious February award ceremony.

Enfield born Adele is also set to perform with soul-Queen Etta James at the Hollywood Bowl in June.
