Amy Winehouse Is ‘In Denial’

Amy Winehouse drinks heavily and needs rescuing from her drug problems- say her parents.

 

In an interview with ITV News the singer’s mum and dad said Amy has not yet kicked her drug problems despite spells in rehab and is in denial.

 

Janis Winehouse said: "The need to rescue her is enormous. Amy is in denial all the time. She probably feels trapped, her body is trapping her.”

 

Her dad Mitch revealed: "I tried it all - I said, 'Amy you've got to do this, you've got to go to this doctor, you've got to do this, you've got to do that, you're killing me, you're killing your mum'. None of it worked."

 

The cabbie also confirmed that Wino and Blake Fielder Civil are to divorce blaming him for her drug problems.

 

Amy has been on the Caribbean island of St Lucia for most of 2009 and has apparently started work on her third album. We hope to hear it soon….
