Reformed Britpop heroes Blur played Hyde Park yesterday in front of 55,000 adoring fans.
The group headlined Glastonbury last weekend and now play two huge London shows including another tonight (July 3).
On stage last night Damon Albarn revealed that Hyde Park was the inspiration for one of their biggest hits- Parklife.
He said: “I had the idea for this song in this park, I used to live near Kensington Church Streetand I used to watch pigeons and people and all that stuff.”
Blur played hits including Out Of Time, Parklife, Boys & Girls, The Universal and Song 2 with the audience singing every word.
Support acts over the two days include Florence & the Machine, Foals and Vampire Weekend.
Blur will also headline T In The Park and Oxegen festivals later this month.
