Britney Spears"href="/artists/britney-spears">Britney Spears’ ex-bodyguard is said to be suing the singer for at least $25,000 after claiming her negligence caused him injury.
Retired cop, Kerry M. Vine, has filed a lawsuit against the If U Seek Amy star at the LA Superior court on Tuesday after claiming Spears’ ‘extreme/outrageous’ conduct caused him ‘severe emotional stress.’
The lawsuit allegedly states that Britney failed "to ensure that he could safely perform duties that she ordered him to perform thereby resulting in physical injuries,"
Despite these statements, Vine has yet to reveal the exact injuries he suffered when working for Britney at the Summit in Beverly Hills, March 2008.
However, a source told gossip website TMZ: “Vine worked at Britney's home a grand total of three days. On the last day of that brief tenure, he volunteered to move a small table with a few other guys.”
They added: “He called in sick the next day, complaining of shoulder pain. He's been on worker’s comp ever since moving that pesky table ... a year ago.”
A hearing has been set for September 2nd...
