Britneys father retains control over her money

Britney Spears appeal to overturn her fathers control over her finances, has been rejected by a court in California.

Spears was admitted to hospital earlier this year for a mental health evaluation, and on February 1st her father, Jamie Spears, was granted control over the pop-stars private affairs.

Since then Jamie has left his job in catering to spend more time regulating his daughters finances, he works alongside court-appointed Andrew Wallet.

Last month, Mr Spears had the conservatorship extended until July 31st and Britney challenged the decision.

However, unfortunately for Britney, the Californian courthouse rejected her plea, stating that the motion was not filed with correct procedures.
