MTV.co.uk are pleased to announce that Carl Barat is resting at home after being released from hospital at the weekend according to reports.

We reported last week that the frontman was rushed to hospital suffering from acute pancreatitis.

The singer and his band are expected to return to live duties this weekend with a performance at the Sun Jam Festival in Bern.
