Cheryl Cole Hits Number One

Cheryl Cole’s single Fight For This Love has hit the number one spot on the official UK Singles Chart instantly becoming the biggest selling track of the year.

 

She sold over 292,000 downloads and CDs to take the top spot from her own friend Alexandra Burke.

 

 

Her Bad Boys track fell to number two while Chipmunk’s Oopsy Daisy is still at number three.

 

Whitney Houston- who like Cheryl performed on last week’s X Factor show- jumped to number five with her song Million Dollar Bill.

 

In the album chart Alexandra Burke’s debut disc Overcome went straight in at number one.
