Chris Brown Refused Rihanna Court Delay

Chris Brown’s court case will go ahead next week after a request to delay the first hearing was refused.

 

The singer’s lawyer had wanted more time to look at Police records but the California Supreme Court ruled against him.

 

Brown is charged with assault on his ex-girlfriend Rihanna- who is expected to testify in the case.

 

It is the second time that the star’s lawyer Mark Geragos had sought to postpone the preliminary hearing.

 

The charges relate to an incident between the two stars in February after a pre-Grammy party.

 

Images later appeared on the internet showing Rihanna’s face bruised. The Umbrella singer has already been called to appear as a witness in the trial.
