R&B star is axed from advertising campaign amidst assault allegations

Chris Brown has been removed as the face of Wrigleys chewing gum advertising campaign due to the current investigation into an alleged assault into involving the pop star.

Doublemint no more. Chri's image and song, Forever, were part of the latest publicity project from Wrigleys but, according to the company they will cease to use them until the matter is resolved.

Brown has also pulled out of an appearance he was set to make a basketball match and Rihanna has postponed a concert that was due to take place in Malaysia on Friday.

According to the our US team, Rihanna is reportedly co-operating with police in the investigation into the incident on Sunday morning that resulted in boyfriend Chris Brown's arrest for making criminal threats.

Police sources have confirmed to the LA Times that Rihanna- real name Robyn Fenty- is the victim. To read more click here.
