Clement Marfo & The Frontline are a seven-piece diverse collective from South London led by the charismatic Clement. Born to Ghanaian parents and raised in Kingston, South London, Clement has become something of a phenomenon in the underground British grime scene.
Clement’s hard-hitting flow is complimented by the multi-talents of vocalist Kojo, Dion on drums, Johnny on bass, Rich and Dan on guitar and the sole female of the collective, Stacey, on keyboards and vocals.
Clement Marfo & The Frontline’s inimitable sound comes from their deft ability to fuse hip-hop, grime, rock and pop in a brilliantly idiosyncratic fashion. Known for their energetic and irrepressible live shows, the last year has seen them gain early radio support from Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens and Semtex; as well as playing live with a wide range of artists including Plan B, Example and Florence and The Machine.
