Coldplay have today released the first single from their fourth album- Violet Hill- as a free download.

The bands website experienced difficulties in loading and the track was not available at the expected 12.15pm time.

However the piano-heavy comeback single can now be downloaded after entering your email address and following a simple link. GET IT HERE

It will be the first chance to hear music from the bands fourth album Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends which will be released June 12.

In other Coldplay news the band have revealed that theyve bought a London bakery as a rehearsal space. And to coincide with the LP coming out they will put on two huge FREE shows in London and New York. The four-piece play Brixton Academy on June 16 and Madison Square Garden on June 23.

Tickets will also be available via the bands website nearer the time.
