Bowie Hooks Up with Gervais

David Bowie has been lined-up to appear in the next series of Ricky Gervaiss hit comedy Extras.

The legend will appear as himself in the new series, which will also feature the likes of Orlando Bloom, Stephen Fry and Sir Ian McKellen.

Bowies episode will see Gervaiss character Andy blagging his way into a private club where the singer is performing, but getting embarrassingly chucked out when David takes to the stage.
