The former Baby Spice, now 30, has had a real up and down career since the Spice Girls split " but never before has she managed to squeeze so much into one week!

Despite her nail biting success on BBC show Strictly Come Dancing, her new album has only reached number 65 in the charts.

Life in Mono, her third solo effort, was put out with a barrage of publicity, including a racy photo shoot with The Daily Star " a shoot which the paper claims saved her when faced with the public vote on Saturday.

But despite this shes found chart success slow going, and the album didnt even make the top 40.

The first release Downtown reached number 3 in the charts back in November, and the next single All I Need to Know isnt out until February, so theres plenty of time for an experienced like Emma to turn things around.

Maybe once shes through with the ballroom dancing, shell turn her attention back to the music that sold her 55 million records with the Spice Girls, and earned her 7 solo top ten hits
