George Clooney Denies Paris Hilton Comments

His rep says he wasnt slagging off the heiress

George Clooney has denied deliberately slamming Paris Hilton for her acting ability.

In a previous interview he said: "There is a funny thing that happens when you are a young actor. You equate financial success and getting jobs with whether or not you are good at it."

The actor continued: "And it still happens. That's why there is Paris Hilton. Now I'm in trouble with Paris Hilton."

But his spokesman has now said that in between the two statements gorgeous George made a long joke at his own expense. He said: "Two different statements are being used that were barely connected. And [they were] certainly not the spirit of the interview." We always thought George was too nice to say those mean things
