Heath Ledger Heads Nick Drake Album

The actor appears in a short film on a new tribute record

Heath Ledger stars in a short film which will feature on a new Nick Drake tribute album.

Cover versions by Norah Jones and Dave Grohl will be on the CD- as well as the controversial video.

It shows Heath Ledger simulating suicide to the Drake song Black Eyed Dog.

Spookily Ledger- who died of an accidental overdose a year ago- was obsessed with the singer and directed the video himself.

Cult singer-songwriter Nick Drake also died of a drugs overdose at a young age- again thought to be accidental.

The film was shown on Australian TV last year.

The album will be released on Jack Johnsons Brushfire record label.
