Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3 and Raekwon's Only Built For Cuban Linx II go head-to-head this week in stores throughout the US, and right now Wu-Tang stalwart Raekwon ’The Chef’ is toppling ’The Greatest Rapper Alive’ Jay-Z in the iTunes download charts.
Raekown has been the only one of the two to speak on the records' head-to-head release, confidently claiming; “I know I have a great album. I haven’t listened to BP3 yet, good luck Jigga anyway.”
Many are saying Raekwon is returning to the original Wu-Tang sound that we all loved, with ‘Jigga’ fans claiming the album is just stagnant and shows no growth. Both of these albums are perfect examples that you can't please all the people all the time, so on that note, why not buy both?
