Jay-Z 'Too Vulgar' For China

According to reports in a Shanghai newspaper Jay-Z's upcoming gig in the Chinese city has been pulled.

The country's Culture Ministry has allegedly deemed the rapper's lyrics too offensive.

The state-run Shanghai Daily quoted the show's promoter as saying, "Some of Jay-Z 's songs contain too much vulgar language."

Although the story has not been confirmed by Jay-Z's publicist, according to online ticket booking website Tickets365.com the concert on October 23 has been postponed .
