Jay Z’s Free Shows For Barack Obama

The rapper is so into the Democratic candidate that hes holding special gigs

Jay Z will hold two free gigs this weekend to encourage young people to vote for Barack Obama at next months Presidential Election.

Jigga will gig(ga) in Detroit (Sat October 4) and Miami (Sun October 5) in support of the Democrat.

Free tickets will reportedly be distributed through Obamas campaign offices in the cities.

And with so many rappers supporting the possible President (Ludacris, T.I, Will.I.Am, Nas, Common) there are sure to be guests on stage with Jay.

Earlier this week Obama exclusively talked about rappers to MTV News telling us: In the past, musicians often were commodities.

They were just shuffled aroundthey did well, but they didn't have the vision to say, 'I'm going to build a business. I'm going to build my own studio.

I'm going to create my own production operations.' I think they're a lot more sophisticated than in the past, and that is a wonderful thing."
