Gwyneth Paltrow Talks Joaquin Phoenix

Gwyneth Paltrow has hinted to MTV News that Joaquin Phoenix’s rap career and bizarre behaviour may be a hoax.

 

When asked about if her co-star in Two Lovers was actually giving up acting for music the she told us: “I’m not a hundred percent sure that that’s really going to be the case."

 

Continuing Gwyneth said: “I think that they’re might be some other explanation or something going on, I’m on quite sure what (laughs) but I can’t believe that he’s really going to quit forever to become a rapper, it seems odd.”

 

We also asked Paltrow- who is married to Coldplay star Chris Martin- if she’d consider a career in music herself.

 

She joked: “Yes I’d like to take this opportunity to announce that I’m quitting acting to become a rapper. So, I’m going to write ‘Good Bye’ across my knuckles and everything.”

 

Gwyneth and Phoenix star together in drama Two Lovers- which is released at cinemas in the UK on Friday March 27.

 

Of the film she revealed: “Two Lovers is about a sort of a love triangle in a way, it’s a story about Joaquin Phoenix’s character, Leonard, who falls in love with one girl who’s lovely and then he sort of get’s obsessed with my character.”
