Jordan, aka
Katie Price, has been named Britain’s most dangerous celebrity… in cyberspace.
Jordan beat stars such as
Jude Law and
Kate Moss to top the chart of celebrities who are having their names used to front websites carrying spyware.
Research carried out by internet security company McAfee shows that cybercriminals have been targeting the biggest celebrities in the hope that they can reach unsuspecting fans’ computers.
It means that fans hoping to find out gossip about Jordan and
Peter Andre’s recent divorce could unwillingly stumble on to any of the 1 in 6 websites bearing her name which aim to infect their PCs faster than you can say ‘swine’.
Overseas Jessica Biel tops the list of US celebrities who might lead you to bring home a cyber virus.
According to McAfee’s research the average Biel fan has a 20% chance of receiving harmful spyware just by trying to find out more about the star.
