The Devon girl is getting involved in US politics

Joss Stone has reportedly written a song in support of Barack Obamas presidential bid.

The Sun claims the soul diva- who has recently been linked to rapper Nelly- has been personally asked by Obama to make him a campaign theme.

Apparently Barack is a bit of a fan of the Devon-born, flame haired, bare foot, hippie singer.

A source told the tabloid: He has always admired her music and thinks she is the perfect choice because of her unique appeal to black and white voters.

Stone has long been a star in the US after breaking through at 16 with her debut record.

Now she is apparently a big supporter of Presidential candidate Barack and is very excited to have a new political role.

With Joss's support this kid could go places....
