Katy Perry Makes Number 1

She kisses a girl and heads straight to the top spot

Katy Perry has knocked Kid Rock off the number one spot with her massive hit I Kissed A Girl.

The song has already been top of the US Billboard chart for weeks and was written by Cathy Dennis (Kylie, Sugababes, Britney Spears), Max Martin (Britney, Kelly Clarkson, N Sync) and Dr Luke (Pink, Leona Lewis, Avril Lavigne).

Rocks All Summer Long only managed a single week on top of the singles chart- its now at number 2.

Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris are now at number 3 with their hit Dance With Me.

The Script and The Verves comeback single Love Is Noise make up the Top 5.

Noah And The Whales catchy single 5 Years Time was a new entry in the Top 10 at 7.

In the Album Chart Abbas greatest hits collection Gold still rules the top.

The highest new LP entry is Nattys Man Like I.
