Kelis Gives Birth

Kelis has given birth to her first child- a baby boy.

 

The child is fathered by hip hop legend Nas- who until recently was married to Kelis.

 

He was not allowed to witness the birth at a hospital in New York despite rushing to her side- his lawyer has revealed.

 

The pair split in April and had been due in court today to settle their divorce and legal disputes about child support.

 

She was seeking £12,000 ($20,000) a month from her ex in maintenance.

 

Nas and Kelis were together for over five years and married for two. He has a child from a previous relationship.
