Kind Monitor

Kind Monitor is a Brooklyn-based indie rock band founded in late 2005, with an emphasis on complex and poetic lyrics and sumptuous orchestral sounds with basic rock beats. The band is also known as KM. The band's music centers around the songwriting of Joshua Aaron Guthals, with frequent themes of alienation, moral ambuiguity, and cultural unrest found in most of the songs. Kind Monitor frequently plays live in the NYC area at the city's more highly regarded indie rock venues (Joe's Pub, Pete's Candy Store, Monkeytown, Galapagos Art Space).
